About situation in the field of regulation of legal relations in the sea port (review of the Law of Ukraine "On Sea Ports of Ukraine" and delegated legislation)

On June 13, 2013, the Law of Ukraine “On Sea Ports of Ukraine” came into force. In this regard, the article considers the conceptual changes that occur in connection with the adoption of this law, and issues of the current situation of legal relations in the sea port. It is indicated that the current law provides the possibility to privatize facilities of port infrastructure, with the exception of strategic facilities, or to carry out private investment by means of concession, joint venture, lease or other investment treaty. Special attention is paid to the port dues. read more

About new draft of the procedure for granting and cancelling of rights to operate air routes in Ukraine

March 21, 2013 a draft order "On Approval of the Procedure for granting and cancelling of rights to operate air routes" has been published on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and it was immediately reported in the media that this order will establish transparent mechanism of granting of the rights on operating of international and domestic air routes to the air carriers.

The end of 2012 in Ukraine has been marked by a number of significant changes in the field of air transportation: on the one side, the Regulations for transportation of goods by air has been amended by the order of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine ¹ 728 from 30.11.2012 years. On the other side, the same Ministry has approved a new version of the Rules of transportation of passengers and luggage by air. read more
