September 26, 2012 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the resolution № 990 "On some issues of concession of state property".

This resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine contains one amendment to the List of state-owned property that can be transferred to the concession, approved by resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 11, 1999 № 2293 (hereinafter - the "List").

According to this amendment the following section supplements the List:

"The property of enterprises that are integral property complexes or the system of integral property complexes providing services in the field of operation of airports, airstrips on the aerodrome".

And this section contains only one item:

State Enterprise "International airport "Boryspil" (code according to EDRPOU 20572069), 08307, Kyiv region, Boryspil city.

In this case, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine is determined as state authority, authorized to sign the concession contract (concession grantor).

Therefore, it is possible that in the near future the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine will announce a concession tender in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On concessions".
